Ham, Cabbage, and Potato Soup

This is a fairly easy soup to make. It makes a lot and it’s so good! What you will need:

14 chicken bouillon cubes, unwrapped

14 cups of water

2 tbs butter

3 green onions, cleaned and sliced up

2 cups of carrots, diced

2 ham steaks cut up or a bag of diced ham (already pre-cooked)

2 large potatoes, peeled & diced

2 cups green beans, snapped & cut up

3/4 head of cabbage, diced up

Put everything in a large Dutch oven pot. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Cook until veggies are tender.

Tip: If broth needs more flavor, add another tablespoon of butter & 2 more bouillon cubes.
