Cheesy, Crescent Roll Meat Pie

This is a dinner I’ve been making since my kids were little.

What you will need:

1 Crescent Roll

2 lbs low fat hamburger

Parmesan cheese

3 green onions, cleaned and chopped

1 Red pepper, 3 stripped cleaned & chopped

Sugar

2 cans Contadina roasted garlic flavored tomato paste

Mozzarella cheese

Spices I use for this recipe are: chives, Dash Italian Medley, oregano, garlic powder, & onion powder.

Press Cresent roll into pie pan. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Sprinkle some parmesan cheese on the crescent roll. Brown ground beef with onions and red pepper. Drain fat. Return to low heat & mix in tomato paste, 4 tsp. sugar, 1 tsp of chives, 1 tsp of Dash Italian Medley, 1/2 tsp oregano, a sprinkle of both onion & garlic powder. Mix well. Pour into your crescent roll pie pan. Top with Mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 25-30 minutes. Slice as a pie and serve for dinner!
