Apple Pie French Toast

Apple Pie French Toast makes for a delicious breakfast for dinner. We make this sometimes on Christmas morning.


1 16 oz Challah Bread (or 14 oz Italian Bread)

4 eggs

1/2 Cup Heavy whipping Cream

2 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon, divided

1/4 Cup Sugar

3 Cups of Apples

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use Pam Spray on a 9×13 baking dish. Set aside.

Cut bread into 1×2 inch cubes. Transfer into a large mixing bowl. Set aside. In another bowl, mix eggs, heavy whipping cream, 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Pour over bread & mix well.

In a small bowl, mix 2 tsp. of cinnamon & sugar together.

Peel and core apples into small slices.

Mix cinnamon, sugar, & apples.

Layer Bread and apple slices in baking dish, alternating layers. Sprinkle tops with a little more cinnamon. for 50-60 minutes.

Serve with warm maple syrup.
